At Zero Tech Waste, we recycle, reuse and securely process old IT equipment for businesses across the UK. Our work helps protect sensitive data, reduce e-waste, keep useful technology in circulation and support a more responsible circular economy. We are growing, and we are looking for people who care about doing practical work properly.
You don’t need to have worked in IT recycling before. Some roles need technical experience, but all need curiosity, reliability, care, communication and a willingness to learn.
If you are interested in sustainability, technology, logistics, repair, refurbishment, operations, customer service or simply doing meaningful work with a good team, we would like to hear from you.
What we do
We collect redundant laptops, PCs, servers, electronics and IT equipment from businesses, schools, public sector organisations and other UK customers. Once equipment reaches us, we securely process data-bearing devices, assess items for reuse, refurbish what we can, and responsibly recycle what cannot be reused.
Our goal is simple: less waste, more reuse, better accountability.

Where we are
The majority of our work takes place in our warehouse & workshops in Beenham, near Reading. We’re easy to get to by car, and the nearest railway station is Aldermaston and it is a 15 minute walk to our facility from there. Our address is Unit 4A, Beenham Grange Business Park, Beenham RG7 5PP and our What3Words location is ///icebergs.jetted.future.
