Why Coventry organisations choose us

Every device you retire still carries data, and you stay responsible for it until it has been dealt with properly. From a design team swapping out workstations to a whole site refresh, our customers come to us for a fast response, secure handling and paperwork that leaves no gaps.

How do we make IT recycling in Coventry simple?

  • Collecting across Coventry and Warwickshire
  • Compliant with GDPR and WEEE
  • Certificates with every collection
  • Refurbishment before recycling

Old engineering workstations and laptops can hold years of design files, intellectual property and staff records. They also fall under the WEEE regulations, and many still have plenty of useful life left. Our Coventry e-waste recycling service deals with the data, the compliance and the reuse in a single collection.

Whether you develop vehicles in Whitley, build components at Ansty Park, run a department at Coventry University or manage an office in the city centre, your old IT is likely to hold design data, intellectual property or staff records. We collect directly from your premises, handle every device securely, destroy the data and give you certificates for your records.

We are already collecting in Coventry

Our collection team covers Coventry and surrounding towns, from Bedworth and Nuneaton to Kenilworth, Warwick, Leamington Spa and Rugby, so IT recycling in Warwickshire is easy to arrange. If you have been searching for IT recycling near me in Coventry, we are already in your area, with the standards, systems and accountability of a specialist UK IT recycling partner behind every collection.

Excellent experience. Used Zero Tech Waste to dispose of ~50 laptops, HDDs and other misc. WEEE. Professional from start to finish; Ollie replied to my initial enquiry very quickly with a quote, and on collection day James was on-time and the removal was very fast. Highly recommend this company for any organisations requiring regulation-compliant IT disposal!

I had a fantastic experience with Zero Tech Waste. Another company said the equipment wasn't enough to cover their costs and asked us for £395+VAT. But it was no problem for Zero Tech Waste, who collected the equipment the next day and provided certificates of data destruction and carbon offset. Highly recommended!

Coventry IT recycling: your questions answered

Can you handle engineering and CAD workstations?

Yes. We collect high specification workstations, servers and storage, destroy the data on every drive and refurbish the hardware wherever possible. Our computer recycling page covers this in more detail.

Is IT recycling in Coventry free?

It is free when you have 10 or more qualifying laptops, PCs or servers. For smaller loads or specialist items, we confirm any charge before you book. See our charges page.

Do you cover Warwick, Leamington Spa and Rugby?

Yes. IT recycling in Coventry and Warwickshire is covered by the same team, including Kenilworth, Warwick, Leamington Spa, Rugby, Bedworth and Nuneaton.

What do you collect?

Laptops, desktops, servers, monitors, printers, phones, networking equipment and most other business IT. Our what we collect page lists the full range.

How soon can you collect?

We can usually arrange collection within 24 to 72 hours, depending on your location, the equipment and any access requirements on site.

How is our intellectual property protected?

Storage media is sanitised using NCSC-approved methods, and drives that cannot be erased by software are physically destroyed. Every collection comes with a Certificate of Destruction. Read about our data destruction methods.

What paperwork will we receive?

A Duty of Care Waste Transfer Note is signed at collection and emailed to you straight away, followed by a Certificate of Destruction, usually within 72 hours, and a Carbon Offset Certificate. View examples of our certificates.

What happens to equipment that still works?

We refurbish it and pass it on to partners and charities, because keeping a device in use is far better than scrapping it. Only items beyond reuse are recycled, through UK-based material streams, in line with the waste hierarchy.
