A collection service that fits around you

Your old IT is still your responsibility until it has been disposed of correctly. Whether you are clearing a back office or replacing every device in a school, we give you a quick response, secure handling and a complete record of what happened to each item.

Why use Zero Tech Waste for IT recycling in Eastbourne?

  • Collecting across East Sussex
  • Compliant with GDPR and the WEEE regulations
  • Certificates with every job
  • Carbon negative, with reuse at its heart

Old devices often hold far more than their owners realise, from guest booking records to student details and care plans. They also fall under the WEEE regulations, and equipment that still works should be refurbished before anything else. Our Eastbourne e-waste recycling service takes care of it all.

Whether you run a seafront hotel, an English language school, a care home in Hailsham or an office near Sovereign Harbour, the IT you replace is likely to hold guest, student or resident information. We collect from your premises, handle every device securely, destroy the data and give you certificates for your records.

Collections across Eastbourne and East Sussex

We collect throughout Eastbourne and out to Polegate, Hailsham, Pevensey, Seaford and Bexhill-on-Sea, making IT recycling in East Sussex simple to arrange. If you are searching for IT recycling near me in Eastbourne, you will find we are already in your area, bringing the standards, systems and accountability of a specialist UK IT recycling partner to your door.

Excellent experience. Used Zero Tech Waste to dispose of ~50 laptops, HDDs and other misc. WEEE. Professional from start to finish; Ollie replied to my initial enquiry very quickly with a quote, and on collection day James was on-time and the removal was very fast. Highly recommend this company for any organisations requiring regulation-compliant IT disposal!

I had a fantastic experience with Zero Tech Waste. Another company said the equipment wasn't enough to cover their costs and asked us for £395+VAT. But it was no problem for Zero Tech Waste, who collected the equipment the next day and provided certificates of data destruction and carbon offset. Highly recommended!

Your Eastbourne IT recycling questions answered

Do you collect from Hailsham, Polegate and the Wealden villages?

Yes. We provide IT recycling in Wealden as well as Eastbourne, including Hailsham, Polegate, Heathfield and Uckfield.

How soon can you collect in Eastbourne?

Collections can usually be arranged within 24 to 72 hours, depending on where you are, the equipment involved and access at your site.

Is IT recycling in Eastbourne free?

It is free for 10 or more qualifying laptops, PCs or servers. For smaller loads or specialist items, we confirm any charge before booking. See our charges page.

Can you collect old IT from schools and colleges?

Yes. We collect classroom and staff IT, destroy pupil and student data securely and refurbish equipment wherever possible. Find out how we support the education sector.

How do you destroy data?

Storage media is sanitised using NCSC-approved methods, and drives unsuitable for software erasure are physically destroyed. Every collection comes with a Certificate of Destruction. Our data destruction methods page explains more.

What certificates will we receive?

A Duty of Care Waste Transfer Note, signed at collection and emailed immediately, a Certificate of Destruction, usually within 72 hours, and a Carbon Offset Certificate. View examples of our certificates.

Is our equipment reused?

Wherever possible. Refurbishing a working device is far better than scrapping it, so reuse always comes first, with equipment going to partners and charities. What cannot be reused is recycled through UK-based material streams. Read about our carbon-negative recycling.
